Review | 1 year with siteground hosting!

In 2018, I bought website hosting for the first time with Siteground.com. This is my one year with siteground review!
The services I paid for was a start-up and I included domain privacy and Scanner. (P.S, you do not need to purchase scanner! There are free options to use)
All of that came up to $95.
You don’t have to do what I did, you can easily pay $63 for the domain name (if you don’t have one) and hosting.
Anyways, in February 14 2019, I had to renew my service. The price came up to $203! The reason for that is the cheap deals only last for 12 months, then after the year ends, the regular prices come at you.
I decided to take off the extra services and only pay for my domain name (soyvirgo.com) and the hosting.Total: 159.35
P.S! Make sure to pay the annual fee up front, if you decide to do monthly payments, there is a hidden fee of $14. Anyways if you want more information on that, you can read this post, How to set-up a site with Siteground hosting.
Siteground Hosting Review | one year with siteground
I’m a blogger that isn’t great at explaining the tech side and benefits of a hosting service, so I will just give you a simple 1-5 star review of a few important topics.☆☆☆☆☆ WordPress Compatibility!
I worried a ton about transferring from a free hosted blog to my new domain. My mind was running and all I could think of was if everything would transfer or would I have to start back from 0? Well the answer is NO! WordPress and Siteground make it so easy to blog and transfer everything whether you are self-hosted or using a different hosting service. SiteGround will migrate your site for free, click here website migration☆☆☆☆☆ Speed!
It’s great okay, I mean there’s nothing bad to say here. If you do a quick search you will see comparisons of Siteground and other cheaper hosting and Siteground comes out on top. Right now I have problems with my site’s speed at times but that’s because I’m not sure if I’m properly compressing images and deleting cache. I still have a ton to learn!☆☆☆☆☆ Price!
So I already explained the cost of siteground and I think it’s great for a beginner domain + hosting plan buyer. The price was worth it for what they offer you. It’s a great price if you plan to gain attention and make money with your site.Search Results and Other Siteground Testimonies:

Siteground customer support is so good! The price for renewal is a bit expensive but their service so far has been good and I think I’m going to continue using theirs 😂
Oh cool, you have them too! Yeah I like it, I wouldn’t try bluehost because I’m just trying to go forward and use better services not go backwards hehe
I’ve heard a lot of good things about siteground hosting, I’m with surpass right now though. I do know they are highly regarded on the WordPress sub on reddit.
I couldn’t agree more. I’ve asked many noob questions when I moved my site to self hosted. Never any problem and they are very helpful
your blog is so cute
