WHAT IS YOUR LOCATION?
I live in Chicago but visit my grandma in Mexico (where I was when I started blogging in 2017!). Check out my travel log to see where I’m going or where I’ve been! Let’s collab when I’m in your area!
HOW/WHEN DID YOU START BLOGGING?
I started sharing my notes on the internet around 2010. Blogging through tumblr, blogspot, and finally wordpress.com.
I decided to do this full time on soyvirgo.com for income and to share my ideas with gals similar to me (and guys if there are any)!
HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN IN A LONG DISTANCE RELATIONSHIP?
I’ve been dating Alexander since the beginning of 2015. We met on a dating site in Oct 2014. I think he’s my soulmate because I wrote about a boy just like him on my old blog. I feel like I used the Law of Attraction to get him so that’s why I believe he’s my soulmate!

WHAT IS “LAW OF ATTRACTION?”
It’s the “secret” of life. I used LOA methods for a ton of different aspects in my life, and I found ways to be happy even in bad situations through LOA. At least I believe that LOL.
Eventually I became more of a positive person, more aware of myself and even began eating a vegan foods and losing interest in material things.
I want to share my stories with you all about this because it’s such a life changing secret. I want you all to be happy because I was at a point in my life where I had NO feelings, I didn’t even care about my cat or my future. I did a complete 360 with LOA and you can too. I’ll try and help you!

DO YOU HAVE A PSEUDONYM?
I go by Kiki or Kikita. You can call me whichever.
My real name is super basic so I like to spice it up and make myself seem more interesting with this name hehe
CAN I SHARE YOUR WORK?
You can share my work just make sure that it retains its original form and I am given credit (contact me please)! My work is protected under strict copyright law so seek permission if you plan to use any of it for other purposes. Sharing is caring bbs, just respect peoples work!
WHAT DO YOU DO FOR A LIVING?
I’ve been selling clothes online since 2014, also reworking clothes to sell for my clothing line Virgencitas and Company ™, making blog posts and doing small side jobs for people.
I mostly do affiliate marketing on this blog now. I will be talking more about how I make money on here so stay tuned.
WHAT DEGREE DO YOU HAVE?
I graduated in Summer 2017 with an Associate in Science. I was going for computer science but I kind of went a different route. I went to a community college and it was the best decision I have made. I was real close to going to Columbia of Chicago, but at the orientation I found out they didn’t have any programs for what I wanted. So I ditched the place to hang out with my friend all day! Sorry Columbia! (it was real expensive too, so I had to decline!)

WHEN DID YOU GO VEGAN?
I went vegan in May 2018! My boyfriend and LOA really helped me finally become vegan.
I decided to go vegan for MY benefit. I really wasn’t thinking about animals because I would usually eat anything with cheese like pizza and cheetos. Going vegan was hard at my first attempt in 2017, I simply was not ready to go vegan.
I went vegan because eating cheese and eggs was not making my stomach happy anymore, and every time I ate it I felt guilty, like I was letting myself down. The thought of still eating animal products was getting to me too.
Now I believe we should be asking “why not be vegan” instead of “why go vegan?”. It’s beneficial to your health if you do it right, to the earth and to animals. It’s a win x win x win!

- I was born in Chicago by 2 lovely Mexican parents
- My husband, cats, and Law of Attraction make me happy 24/7!
- I have a skin condition and I want to talk about it more through this site!
- I’ve owned/taken care of 4 cats so far. The girl I’m holding in the photo is my precious Buttercup. She passed away from liver disease.
- I try to help Earth by altering clothes for people who also want to help the earth. If you’re interested, look up VRGNCTAS on all major social outlets!
- My goals for 2019 are to become a happier person and someone who makes others happy. If I can do that through my social media and my website, I will achieve this!
- A major goal is to help cats by owning a cat cafe / sanctuary where everyone can adopt or foster.
- After Buttercup passed away, I found my purpose in life, and that’s to help those who can’t help themselves!
- I aim to help cats, kids and even single mothers.
- I’d also want to help my readers see the beauty in living and how it’s important to be the source of your own happiness.
- I saw the secret when I was young and I believe it helped me manifest a lot of sources of happiness.
In high school I was really close to being kicked out for ditching too much. After being told by a family member to watch a movie on Law of Attraction, I started to change my ways lol. I studied hard to get into any college I wanted and even used the Law of Attraction to get into a decent one, but I decided with a community college because of the tuition.
While studying, I was trying hard to hustle any way I could by selling on depop and other apps. I decided to go for an Associates in Science to become a programmer for that moola (that didn’t go as planned!).
Late 2014, a cool guy messaged me on a website called okcupid. His name is Alexander and he’s been my husband since September 2015! You’ll read a lot about him on here. We did live together in 2016, but it only lasted until August 2017 because our relationship was a mess! He went back to California and I went to Mexico for the first time in my 21 years alive!
I went on vacation before I could get caught up with job hunting and figuring my life out, also I was dealing with a “separation” from my husband? Yeah, you’re gonna need to read this post to understand it. It was in my grandparents house in Mexico that I decided to make a living doing what I love.
What I love isn’t blogging— it’s a mix of lifestyle, art, designing, loving cats, giving advice, and spreading happiness in a complex world! I thought it’d be easier to document and help people by giving them my experiences and advice on a website like this.
I have lots to say and I want to share my thoughts with you all before I forget! Please don’t leave without sharing yours ♡
GATI Buttercup ―
My precious cat, who was a gift from my brother, died in May 2017. She was my best friend who I will never forget. Please do not forget to adopt and love little creatures like her!
I’ll share my journey of becoming a successful gal who owns a shop/cat café/sanctuary and I hope you all will share your art and play your music there. It will be like a physical version of my blog. Somewhere to heal at, share ideas, adopt cats and make genuine relationships!
